The CPE 2024 Conference has made the following information available.

The Centre for Power Electronics and IMAPS-UK organised the Annual Conference serving the Power Electronics, Machines and Drives (PEMD) Research and Development community, with over 220 people attending over the two days of the in-person event. The Conference featured state of the art presentations from academic and industrial speakers, 3 Sponsors, 13 Exhibitors, 90 poster presentations from Early Career Researchers and a post-Conference Workshop on Power Electronics from Semiconductor Device Fabrication to Application.

IMAPS-UK is pleased to announce a Call for Abstracts for the iPower6 Conference and Exhibition. The iPower6 Conference will be held at the British Motor Museum, Gaydon, Warwickshire on Thursday 28 November 2024.

Abstracts are invited on the following topics:

• Materials – Semiconductor Devices and Passive Components
• Packaging and Interconnect
• Performance, Testing and Reliability
• Transportation, Renewables and Energy Storage Applications

All abstracts received by the submission deadline will be evaluated by the organising team. Abstracts covering a balanced range of the main conference topics will be selected and invited to provide an Oral Presentation (20mins + 5 mins questions) and Poster Presentations in the Exhibition area during the conference.

Students, PDRAs and Early Career Professionals who submit an Abstract, accepted by the iPower6 Organising Team for Poster Presentation, will be offered Free Entry to the iPower6 Conference and will be eligible for a Poster Award.

Abstracts are due by Friday 13th September 2024.
