Dr Jose Ortiz Gonzalez, Associate Professor at the University of Warwick, is preparing a Power Electronics Machines and Drives (PEMD) Sector Seminar, focusing on Understanding Skills, Training, Job Opportunities and Networking in the PEMD Technology Sector. In this seminar, the objective is to develop an understanding of the skills and knowledge required in the PEMD sector. The planned seminar will include talks from the different interested parties involved in PEMD, from students to employers, academics and communities aiming to share their experiences in the sector and identify good practices.

The seminar will take place on Thursday 19th September 2024, at the National Propulsion Showcase – Advanced Propulsion Centre UK, University of Warwick, Coventry. The agenda is being finalised and it will be a free event, with limited places available on a first served basis. IMAPS-UK will participate in this event

IMAPS-UK is pleased to announce a Call for Abstracts for the Annual MicroTech 2025 Conference with the theme of Packaging in Challenging Applications. The MicroTech 2025 Conference is planned to be held at the National Space Centre, Leicester on Thursday 20 March 2025.
