The Universities of Southampton and Bristol are hosting a Townhall Meeting on the MICROCRAFT Project, an initiative to create a New UK Semiconductor Capability that will provide a National NEMS/MEMS microfabrication pathway, which will take place on Friday 20th June 2025, at The Royal Society London.

MICROCRAFT will provide the UK with an open-access platform for NEMS/MEMS design, microfabrication and microsystems integration, offered by the facilities at the University of Southampton and in collaboration with the systems design capabilities of the University of Bristol.

At the Townhall Meeting, you will have the opportunity to:

• Understand the current plans on how MICROCRAFT will operate and what capabilities are offered
• Discover how access to shared wafer runs and bespoke fabrication
• Influence and help shape the formation of design rules, packaging options and training programmes
• Network with semiconductor researchers, engineers and innovation leads from academia and industry

Attendance is free and lunch/refreshments will be provided.
