A Workshop on Adhesives in Microelectronics
IMAPS-UK is organising an Adhesives in Microelectronics Workshop to provide a comprehensive overview of how they are applied in microelectronics packaging. This Afternoon Workshop on Wednesday 19 March 2024 precedes the MicroTech 2025 Conference on Thursday 20 March 2025. There will be an opportunity to visit the National Space Centre in the morning before the Workshop.

Adhesives play a key role in the assembly, interconnection and encapsulation of microelectronics ranging from mass-produced consumer products to high value safety critical components and modules. However, there is often limited understanding of the materials and how to apply them beyond the datasheets provided with the materials.

Dispensing and Deposition of Adhesives for Microelectronics Assembly – Presented by Simon Broadhurst, K&S:

The workshop will address the training needs of students and researchers within Colleges and Universities and personnel within Industrial companies to assist in the upskilling and reskilling of people for the design, manufacture and testing of electronics modules. Attendees can request a Certificate of Attendance that can be used as proof of Continuous Professional Development.
