About Medical Device Packaging Workshop – MedPack:
The UK market for medical devices is forecast to be worth £9.1bn by 2018 according to UK Trade & Investment. Medical devices have challenging packaging, integration and assembly requirements. As the market evolves the need for innovative solutions that ensure integrity, sterility and functionality while maintaining cost-effectiveness and sustainability is ever pressing.
Join us at a one-day workshop on Thursday, 18th of May at the Trinity Centre, Cambridge where IMAPS UK will showcase the work from experts in the areas of wearable electronics, point of care diagnostics and implantable devices from industry and academia. The workshop will provide a venue for discussions on the state of the market and novel technologies, as well as packaging, assembly and integration challenges (and solutions) presented by these next generation of medical electronic devices.
This is a good opportunity for attendees to learn more about this exciting field and network with market leaders and technology developers. The schedule follows our tried and tested educational workshop format, where the morning is dedicated to core information talks reviewing market trends and new technologies, while in the afternoon the attendants have a unique opportunity to hear about specific challenges, and how the industry has solved them.
