IMAPS-UK Altogether, better connected!

POP3: The 3rd International Conference and Exhibition on Photonics and Opto Packaging – 17-18 October 2022

The growth in demand for photonics and opto-electronic components driven by the exponential expansion in data centre traffic, wireless technologies, sensors and autonomous vehicles is posing challenges for opto-electronic packaging techniques in order to increase transmission rates and reduce manufacturing costs.

IMAPS-UK, in partnership with the Torbay Hi-Tech Cluster (THTC), South Devon College and Electronic and Photonics Innovation Centre (EPIC) Centre brings you the 3rd International Conference and Exhibition on Photonics and Opto Packaging (pOp3) with the theme of Linking Optoelectronics Designers and Manufacturers. The pOp3 Conference and Exhibition will be held at the South Devon College Hi Tech & Digital Centre, Paignton on Tuesday 18 October 2022, with the opportunity to hear from THTC and EPIC Members on the afternoon of Monday 17 October 2022.

This Event will meet the needs of those involved with design of systems, development of components as well as end-users. The conference and exhibition will take place at the University Centre at South Devon College, which is one of the main focus areas of the photonics and opto-electronics components in the UK.

The Conference starts at lunchtime on Monday 17 October 2022 at the Electronics And Photonics Innovation Centre (EPIC), where there is the opportunity to tour the Centre and hear a series of presentations from Torbay Hi-Tech Cluster and EPIC Member Companies on state of the art opto-electronic packaging facilities.

The Conference and Exhibition continues on Tuesday 18th October 2022 at South Devon College, with a full day of presentations from national and international speakers, time to meet with Exhibitors and Sponsors, take the opportunity to view the latest Academic research and development at a Poster Gallery and network with peers.
