POP4: The 4th International Conference and Exhibition on Photonics and Opto-Electronics Packaging – Tuesday 15 October 2024
The growth in demand for photonics and opto-electronic components driven by the exponential expansion in data centre traffic, wireless technologies, sensors, quantum applications and autonomous vehicles is posing challenges for opto-electronic packaging techniques in order to increase transmission rates and reduce manufacturing costs.
IMAPS-UK, in partnership with the Torbay Hi-Tech Cluster (THTC) and South Devon College brings you the 4th International Conference and Exhibition on Photonics and Opto-Electronics Packaging (pOp4). The pOp4 Conference and Exhibition will be held at the South Devon College Hi Tech & Digital Centre, Paignton on Tuesday 15 October 2024.

QLM Technology is a start-up developing a new low-cost semiconductor lidar technology that can detect, image, locate and quantify methane and other greenhouse gas leaks. We have operations in Paignton at EPIC, in Bristol and Cardiff and staff across the UK and USA. QLM’s lidars are now being installed like methane security cameras in cloud-networked autonomous systems monitoring industrial sites like gas wells, waste-water treatment plants and gas distribution terminals, helping to reduce emissions and limit climate change.
