The IMAPS-UK PEPTUS 2 project is all about developing and delivering knowledge and expertise on Power Electronics Packaging.
This project is funded by the Innovate-UK – Driving the Electric Revolution – Building Talent for the Future programme. The project is preparing a Power Electronics Packaging Training Course based on Basic, Intermediate and Advanced levels, to be taken up by Industry and Academia to assist in training, up-skilling and reskilling personnel for the design, manufacture and testing of power devices and modules in particular.
We would like to invite you to participate in a Stakeholder Webinar on Tuesday 14 March 2023 to hear about progress of the project and receive your input on the future direction of the project.
The Webinar will cover the following areas:
- Course Content and Delivery
- Qualification and Recognition
- Summer School to Include Practical Training Content
We will be presenting short updates on these topics and will then be seeking your opinion through Questions and Answers and simple polls taken during the Webinar.
Your involvement as a stakeholder in the project is vital to the success of the project to provide solutions for industry to benefit from the investment of the UK into Power Electronics.

The next two opportunities to engage in-person with the PEPTUS course are:
- PEPTUS Workshop on Power Packaging Materials and Processes on Wednesday 29th March 2023 at the University of Strathclyde prior to MicroTech 2023 Conference on Thursday 30th March 2023 at the same venue
- PEPTUS Workshop on Power Electronics Devices and Packaging on Monday 3rd July 2023 at the University of Nottingham prior to Centre for Power Electronics (CPE) Annual Conference on 4 – 5th July 2023 at the same venue
