Training Workshop on “Introduction to Wire Bonding” at the London Institute of Healthcare Engineering, London, SE1 7EH
This Workshop is a free comprehensive training course entitled “An Introduction to Wire Bonding”.

Attendees will be provided access to wire bonding machines and guided through real hands-on opportunities to experience the wire bonding process
The event will open with a plenary introduction session covering an overview of the wire bonding processes, materials used and equipment capabilities.
Following the introduction, further sessions will cover:
- Practical Wire Bonding
- Metallurgy, Failure Analysis and Imaging
- Reliability in Wire Bonding
Attendees will be split into groups to enable individuals sufficient time to access and use the provided wire bonding equipment.
This course will enable attendees to gain an understanding of the practical and theoretical details of wirebonding for those needing re-skilling from adjacent industries or looking for an introduction to the subject of microelectronics and photonics packaging.
Attendees can receive a Certificate of Attendance on request that can be used as proof of Continuous Professional Development.
